CUBS MOVING ON TO AQUILA

Cubs from 18th Homewood Cub Pack move on to us: they will be contacted about this as they approach the age to move on to Scouts. Information for older Cubs and their parents, soon to join us. See here for more information

JOINING OUR SCOUT TROOP

We may have a few places for new scouts from outside the 18th. It does not matter whether or not the new scout was a cub or scout previously. Please email us to make contact.

You may be asked to complete a form so we have eligibility and contact information. The form is here: you will need the passcode that will be emailed to you, once you email us to make contact.

PRIORITY FOR PLACES

PARENT HELP: Please note that the number of Scouts we can have in the Troop is limited by a number of factors, including the number of adult leaders: we are always looking for more adults to help us. We give considerable priority for boys or girls to join if a parent can help with weekly meetings as leader or helper.

SIBLINGS: We give priority to siblings of current Group me,mbers (any section).

MOVE TO AREA: We generally give a place to any scouts (or cubs of 10 years), moving into our area.

NEW SCOUTS

Information for new scouts as they join us is here.

TOO YOUNG FOR SCOUTS?

Scouts starts at 10 and a quarter years old. So if too young for us:

Ask about our "Waiting List" by email

Or find out about the Group's Beaver Colony and Cub Pack (external links to our Group Website) that are available for younger children but will lead to joining us when old enough.

Our Homewood Cub Pack (Tuesdays) may have spaces for Year 4 and 5 children to join. Please email us to make contact.

TOO OLD FOR SCOUTS?

14 or older? Look here for Explorer Scouts.
