GENERAL INFORMATION

This is a bushcraft camp from Friday evening to Saturday lunchtime at Phasels Wood Camp site, near Hemel.

With a lot of newish scouts, we will make this an easy and enjoyable introduction to camping with us.
However, more adventurous scouts can sleep “under the stars”, so in the open on what we hope will be a tranquil, warm summer night. There will be “tarp” shelters and tents available should the weather be less than perfect, but if the weather is very bad we will not do this activity.

On the Friday evening, we will build a wood fire to cook supper (hot dogs or similar) and beds can be laid out around this. Saturday morning we again have a fire for a simple backwoods breakfast. We will have some games, including a wide game: this wooded campsite is great for this.

INFORMATION FOR THIS ACTIVITY

The timing is Friday evening (18.30) to Saturday morning (finishing at 12.00).

There will be no charge for this activity, but we do need the registration form completed, if your scout wants to come. We hope we can take all that wish to come, but we cannot guarantee it.
