GENERAL INFORMATION

During a Troop meeting, we hike to a chip shop. The challenge is arriving before the chips sell out .....and remembering money to get some!

Hike groups are supervised by leaders.

Scouts need to wear warm clothes and suitable footwear. Hiking boots are preferred, but trainers or well-fitting wellies are OK.

Scouts need to wear some reflective clothing. The Troop has some for those without.

Bring a waterproof outer coat, money for chips ....and of course a torch with full batteries
