GENERAL INFORMATION

This St Albans inter-Troop event is held at Westminster Lodge on a Saturday evening in late January from about 6.00 p.m.

There are individual races for under-12 and over-12 age groups, with medley relays. Ages are those on day of event.

The events are:

• 1 length backstroke
• 1 length breaststroke
• 1 length freestyle
• 3 x 1 length relay

Scouts can take part in one individual and one relay event. We certainly do not need expert swimmers: it is a TEAM event, so both experts and enthusiastic swimmers are welcome in out team.

There is no cost to Scouts, but we need to have entries, with the following information:

• Name
• Age on the date of the event
• First and second choice strokes
