We have a purpose-built Group Headquarters, finished in 1999, at the south end of the Wick Wood.

This area of woodland and field is ideal for outdoor Scouting. It is used by all the sections, particularly during the summer.

The Wick woodland is now a Local Nature Reserve, and we often hear or see woodpeckers, owls, and many other woodland birds. There is more about the Wick in the Friends of the Wick website

We have placed bird boxes and bat boxes in the woods and done various conservation projects there.
